THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING US!

The weather was made to order. The early bird Friends of the Arboretum shoppers started forming the line at 8:00 AM for the 9:00 AM opening. We are so appreciative of the over 400 people who came to shop. Boxes and carts were rapidly filled and by noon only a few plants were left. The Pitt County Master Gardeners worked for months to get all of the plants looking great and ready to sell. Remember: Same time next year- the Saturday after Mother's Day. You may want to consider becoming a Friend and being able to shop early for the best selections.

ARBORETUM MISSION

FRIENDS OF THE PITT COUNTY ARBORETUM

To help support and expand our beautiful Arboretum and to strengthen our teaching, demonstration, and outreach programs, become a Friend of the Arboretum. Started in 2002, the nonprofit Friends organization plays a critical role in preserving and perpetuating an important local cultural resource. The Arboretum depends on memberships and gifts for our operating expenses. Friends enjoy many benefits including early admittance to our annual plant sale, discount ticket price for our January Speaker Event, access to our horticultural library, and discounts at local gardening shops.
