HERB SPIRAL

Our Herb Garden has taken a new twist (groan).  We now have an herb spiral in the center circle.  Several Master Gardener constructed this last week.  All that is left to do is to select and plant the herbs.  A spiral design is an efficient use of vertical and horizontal space.  It naturally creates a dry zone (top) and a wetter zone (bottom).  The stones used will retain heat gathered during the day to help insulate the plants at night.   Check this out for instructions on making your own:

Thank you to Master Gardener, Dorita B., owner of Raindrop Ridge Farm, for donating the herbs and her expertise for the Herb Garden.  You may visit the farm's Facebook page by CLICKING HERE.
