THANK YOU

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Arboretum Saturday to learn about 'Gardening in the South'.  Thank you also to Wild Birds Unlimited and Carolina Seasons Nursery who sponsored the event, helped promote it, and sold tickets for us.  Mark Weathington inspired us to try new things while holding fast to the philosophy of planting the right plant in the right place!  Thank you to our Speaker Committee (Joanne, Rosanne, and Susan) for again pulling this event together.

GARDENING IN THE SOUTH

Since it is too cold to be out in your garden (and there isn't much to be done this time of year anyway), come out to the Arboretum this Saturday and get some ideas for what you might do to enhance your garden.   Doors open at 9:00 AM.  Master Gardeners will be serving coffee, tea and breakfast snacks.  Carolina Seasons Nursery will have a display of plants for sale.

SAYING GOODBYE

Today is our Extension Agent Eric's last day in Pitt County.  We thank him for the work he did for the Arboretum and the Master Gardener Program.  His cheerful attitude and high energy level will be missed.   We wish him the best of everything as he continues his career in the Triangle area.
