A few weeks ago, our Master Gardeners spied an egg sack for a praying mantis in the Rose Garden. Last week this creature was spotted in the Rose Garden. Do you think they are connected? While often thought of as a beneficial insect in the garden, in reality, they are not as helpful as other types. They are equal opportunity insect eaters and will dine on both the good bugs, bad bugs, and each other in your garden. Click here for more:
