Salvia madrensis 'Red Neck Girl' is putting on a spectacular show in our Children's Garden. It's 6+feet tall deep red stems have an abundance of soft yellow blooms. The bees are finding this very alluring. In general, salvias are long blooming plants. Most prefer well-drained sites and are drought tolerant. Hummingbirds also are attracted to salvias.
