ONE MONTH UNTIL OUR PLANT SALE

All the plants are potted up and being cared for by the Master Gardeners.  We will have another good selection of easy to grow plants waiting for you on May 20th.

AZALEAS

Even though some buds were nipped by a snap of cold weather, the flowering azaleas have put on a good show.  If yours is done flowering and you want to reduce its size, after it finishes blooming is the time to prune.  Here is an article with pruning tips:

VEGETABLE GARDEN WORKSHOP

Come out to the Pitt County Arboretum to learn tips for growing a successful garden
and participate in hands-on demonstrations of planting vegetables.

Bring gloves and garden tools to dig right in!
